After training as a toolmaker, Albrecht Reimold studied production engineering at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences. He joined Audi AG as a trainee in 1987 and over the years held various management positions within the Volkswagen Group, including international positions. Key positions included plant manager at Audi in Neckarsulm from 2009. In 2012, Albrecht Reimold moved to Volkswagen Slovakia a.s. as Chairman of the Board and Chief Technical Officer. Since February 2016, Albrecht Reimold has been Executive Vice President Production and Logistics at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG.
